What does this procedure mean?

Transjugular liver biopsy obtains liver tissue through a vein, commonly via the neck, and is designed to provide diagnostic tissue while using a venous route.

- Transient discomfort
- Rare bleeding or injury to abdominal structures
- Results may occasionally be limited by sample size
